Make sure you read the great post by Clickz.com editor Karen Gedney “Career Advice for the Newly Unemployed.” She talks about how many of her marketing clients are calling to ask her advice on new directions for their careers. At the same time, small and mid-sized companies are also calling and wanting her to set up email and e-newsletter campaigns for them. Although she’s too expensive for these companies’ more modest marketing budgets, she thinks this is a great opportunity for her unemployed marketing colleagues to create a career for themselves.
