I hate to do this, but I have to so let’s keep it short and sweet.
There’s just one basic rule: BE RESPECTFUL. That means…
- Please stay away from using racial, ethnic, gender, religious or sexual slurs.
- Don’t post anything that could get me or you in legal trouble. That includes copyrighted and slanderous material. You are responsible for what you post.
- Strong language is okay, but personal insults are not. I’m not a prude, and I understand that sometimes nothing says it more than a !*@#$#! word or two. That said, don’t go overboard. I will not be monitoring the posts everyday, but if someone advises me of an offensive post, be it strong language or otherwise, I’ll delete it.
- Also, please refrain from the stereotypical behavior that the opposite sex so often pins on us (e.g., catty, whiny, fault-finding, complaining, you know the labels). I’m hoping this mirrors a discussion among friends out to dinner for the night…lively, conflicting debates, yet respectful.
My vision is this area becomes a productive exchange of ideas, advice, motivation and guidance enabling us all to achieve the greatness within.
