I wanted to share with you the latest letter I received from Julienne Uwimbabazi, a woman I am sponsoring in Rwanda through the organization Women for Women International.
If you don’t know of Women for Women International, please visit their website. They’re an AMAZING organization that supports women in war-torn regions with financial and emotional aid, job-skills training, rights education and small business assistance so they can rebuild their lives.
I hope you enjoy Julienne’s note…
“My dear Susan,
My aim of writing to you is to thank you and let you know how I am doing. I do not know how to express your love to me because you help me so much that whenever I think about it I thank you so much and ask the Lord to bless you with more.
I planted my crops well and got enough fertilizers for my garden and the yield is much higher than the usual one.
Two of my children are in primary school and are doing well. The other two twins are 4 1/2 years old. When they fall sick, they now get treatment because they have health insurance.
I have managed to achieve a lot with your support. May God protect you.
Yours,
Julienne Uwimbabazi”
Julienne is the second woman I have sponsored through Women to Women International. For as little as $27/month you can make a difference to a woman and her family who are suffering horrific circumstances…things we can’t even begin to imagine. For my small contribution I am able to significantly help a family of five and help train a woman to build a business and achieve a sustainable living for her family.
If you’re able to help, take a look at their site. Help our sisters…
Susan
